KUMB Podcast with Sullivan x 3
Anyone listened to the KUMB podcast with the Sullivan's?

Just listened to it myself, with interesting facts:

- Stated our total budget thus window is 25M, including loan fees. Said we've done 17-18m of that net at this point.
- Said the forward we're looking to loan is for a season loan from a major European club, but with no option to buy.
- Said Downing going on about no one tried to convince him to stay is basically total shit.

Plus various other information about what they're trying g to do transfer wise, the fact that all summer they've been trying to shift "A, B, and C"... we can guess who...but their are basically no takers.

Worth a listen.

Son ain't cool, he was asked what he'd nick on the last day, he said his little poofy foot rest...

Now I'd have made a dash straight for the trophy cabinet...

That foot rest thingy, might be ok actually..

goose. I actually transcribed the parts about not backing Grant with players and thought about making a thread out of them. Then decided against it.

" Takes blame for relegation as the board didn't support him enough with new players. Says the board won't make the same mistake again. "

remember this come the end of the season. they constantly make the same mistakes and have done again. without some deadline day miracle we are deep in trouble.

Listened to both of these now.

Really good and I actually think the 2 sons come across quite well for their age too.

Certainly worth a listen in my opinion.

They couldn't give a fuck what they said, swayed the vast majority into not asking any difficult questions, they signed the deal, they'll get their money when they sell up - she got her bonus.

They care nothing of the West Ham name and certainly couldn't care less about West Ham fans.

Lady Brady said C&B seats as well

Shows they went for the cheap option. After an unimpressive few years, Bilic obviously lowered his demands.

Yes I should have realised as they joked about it at the beginning...

I've just stopped listening frankly. I really don't care what Sullivan's kids think of WH. They're just nice lads gobbing off...

'Have they learnt nothing from the Austin criticism?'

Probably not, seeing as this is all from the same interview.

Re: KUMB Podcast with Sullivan x 3
Excuse me but has anyone noticed or mentioned the constant and open criticism of Avram Grant? I know Avram probably deserved it but bloody hell! Even his kids are poking fun at Grant!

Have they learnt nothing from the Austin criticism?

"Slaven was first choice five years ago but wanted 30m budget"

5 years down the line and he still can't get a £30m budget.

Second part up now. http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=128933

- Slaven was first choice five years ago but wanted 30m budget

- Grant was third choice after McLaren

- Takes blame for relegation as the board didn't support him enough with new players. Says the board won't make the same mistake again.

- Says Bilic has 'the fear factor' with the players

- Boleyn Insider isn't one of them (if I understood it right)

- Song and Carroll initially uncertain about coming, but now love being with WH

- According to one of the kids, don't know which is which. No control at all over getting the last game of the season at home. Not contradicted by Sullivan.

- Thinking about having the end of season dinner on the pitch in a marquee.

- "Some" claret and blue seats at the OS. Can't dictate as we're only renting. Would cost 10m to do them all and would rather spend the money on a player. There will be a lot of c&b inside and outside the stadium.

- "Huge" part of the revenue at the OS is the catering, which we've given up "virtually all" of. Mentioned in relation to people complaining about us getting too good a deal on the OS.

- In five years hope to regularly be in Europe. Laughed about saying the same when they arrived, and that we were "...but not the way we intended."

- We can now go into a game against anybody barring Man City away with the hope of getting something, which wasn't the case five years ago. "If you can go to the Emirates and win you can go anywhere and win"

- Few digs at Diame, went to Hull for money.

Re: KUMB Podcast with Sullivan x 3
It would have been slightly easier to swallow if Sullivan actually had a point about Austin, but he doesn't.

As has been pointed out, Austin has scored shitloads wherever he's played and there is nothing wrong with his fitness. Jermaine Jenas, who has played with him, reckons "'His work-rate and fitness levels are phenomenal'" and that is a direct quote off BBC Sport.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33991435

I understand that Sullivan is trying to play games to get Austin at a cheaper price but I can't see this endearing him to the player, let alone anyone else. I'm one of those who doesn't have a problem with our owners (although I'm not a big fan of Tits McGee) but Sullivan has made himself look like a dick here.

Pretty simple rule, don't talk about other clubs players.
